Saliva Interview Debut!

Missing Saliva Interview Found

SalivaAnother interview slipped through the cracks and I found myself having to transcribe it again for the second time. This Saliva interview is the first time it has ever been published anywhere.

This interview was interesting because Saliva’s management had originally scheduled me to interview the new guitarist Jon Montoya. At the time of the scheduled interview, management approached me and said, “Jon can’t make it, you will be interviewing Josey.” Normally this would have been devastating news for me, I had just spent the last two days studying to specifically talk to Jon not Josey! I can’t just do an interview on the fly, I have to be prepared.

My only saving grace was the fact that I am a huge Saliva fan and pretty much knew everything about them. I ripped up my questions and said, “I can do this!” Josey was the one I wanted to talk to anyway.

So for the very first time in my interview history I approached my subject (Josey) with no questions on paper! I feel it turned out pretty good for flying by the seat of my pants so to speak.

The interview can be seen here:

Puddle Of Mudd Interview Debut!

Missing Puddle Of Mudd Interview Found

Puddle Of MuddThis Puddle Of Mudd interview was conducted on October 5, 2007. This interview was never published. I conducted the interview for Garage Radio Magazine. The magazine was folding during the time of the interview and was never published, so this is the only place you will find this interview.

I searched high and low and couldn’t find the interview anywhere so I had to refer to the recorded interview and transcribe it all over again! Transcribing interviews is my least favorite part of conducting interviews. It is very time consuming, I need someone who can transcribe the interviews for me!

Transcribing interviews is the one thing about the interview process that I hate the most. But this was an important interview. I would say it’s the most fun I have ever had doing an interview. Wes was a real cut-up, a very fun guy to talk to. He talked about being banned from Elvis Presley’s Graceland for life!

So here it is for the very first time anywhere, my interview with Wes Scantlin!

Phantom Photography’s new web site

Phantom Photography’s new web site!

Phantom Photography's new web siteWelcome to Phantom Photography’s new web site. The new website is up and running and in the progress of being updated with photos, interviews and more. Thanks to Joseph Priser at 3 Shades of Blue Web Design for the site design. . Even though I am a web master, I just could not find the time to build a web site so I asked my good friend Joe to build a design and then I could fill in all the content.

Even though Mr. Priser built the site, I still had a lot of coding I had to do to get the site the way I had envisioned it. So, the new site was a team effort.

Special thanks goes out to Susan Rukamp Sampaio for designing the new Phantom Photography logo.
